Lost in Transition

Okay folks, I'm back, and I promise I'm going to do better. Not only for your sake, my 5 faithful readers, but for my own, because it turns out this whole writing thing is a bit like working out... and it doesn't take long to get out of shape, just a week or two out of the gym'll do it, it seems.

I'm semi-settled down in my new (old) state, beautiful Colorado, and I'm blissfully settling into a routine at a job I adore. Life is grand. I plan to cover a couple of topics over the next couple weeks, perhaps most exciting will be live coverage of the Democratic National Convention August 25th-28th. Be prepared for some awesome one liners lifted excerpted from conversations with rapid Obamaniacs, of which there are copious numbers in my square state.

I've missed you all, and I pray that you are well. Thanks for the prayers during the past few months, I've come out stronger and with a better sense of humor, anyhow. God definitely laughed at my plans, but now I'm starting to look back with a smile and see His point. Touche, Almighty God.
